Glenburgie – 1998 – 16 YO – 46% – Hogshead
Nose : Ginger lemon pie, spring blossom and honeysuckle
Body : Oily, dates, marshmallow, pecan nuts and golden sultanas
Finish : Sweet, walnuts, and grapefruit and lime marmalade
Macduff – 2002 – 12 YO – 59.7% Sherry Butt
Nose: Toffee pie, vanilla cheesecake and chocolate raisins
Body: Smoked beef, rubber, vanilla, and peppery crisps
Finish: Zesty and soft and some sea salt and lemon peel
Glenallachie – 2005 – 10 YO – 58.2% – Sherry Butt
Nose: Wine gums, dark rich toffee, sultanas and gingerbread
Body: Fresh, ginger beer with honeycomb and almonds
Finish: Fresh ginger, lemon zest and fresh mint
Inchmurrin – 1998 – 17 YO – 46% – Hogshead
Nose: Caramel cake, oak wood, vanilla, creamy biscuits
Body: Leather, tobacco leaf, treacle and rosewood
Finish: Woody and delicate
Clynelish – 1997 – 18 YO – 46% – Hogshead
Nose: Champagne biscuits, dried apricots, bubble gum, salty toffee
Body: Rich, salty spicy with a sweet edge. Salty caramel shortcake with a zest of lemon on top
Finish: Sweet, spicy and salty
